Supporting 88.5 KVFE Through Underwriting
88.5 KVFE, a listener-supported, non-commercial Christian radio ministry, operates under a 501(C)(3) non-profit status. Due to FCC regulations, we do not sell advertising in the traditional sense. However, we do have the opportunity to acknowledge businesses and ministries that support us financially through our Underwriting Program.
As a token of our appreciation for your support, we will acknowledge your contribution on-air. You'll receive a daily "Thank You" from us, Monday through Friday, between 6 am and 6pm, totaling at least 20 acknowledgments in most months.
It's important to note that FCC Underwriting Guidelines restrict us from:
- Promotional language that could give your business or ministry a competitive advantage. For example, we cannot claim your burgers are the best or your service the fastest.
- Calls to action in our acknowledgments. We can inform our listeners about your business or ministry, but not instruct or entice them to take action. Therefore, phrases like “stop by today” or “visit us online” are not permitted. However, we can mention your Name, Adress, phone number or website.
Underwriting Specifics:
- Each on-air acknowledgment will be less than 30 seconds.
- All production, including music and voice work, will be done by our team.
- Content will be non-commercial in nature, align with the established format of 88.5 KVFE, and adhere to FCC guidelines for non-commercial radio as interpreted by 88.5 KVFE management.
